With the Windows based operating system Windows CE and Bizerba software solutions, the scale and the office are now able to communicate using a protocol standard. All Bizerba CE-S scales are capable of being connected with extreme simplicity to existing networks – whether the Internet or internal company based networks. A high degree of rationalization means tangible savings in terms of both time and money.

Maximum level of comfort

The Bizerba CE-S stands out with its variety of applications: It can be used as a full scale, quick service or self service scale, or simply for price labeling. You can switch from one operating mode to another quickly and easily. Hanging scale CE 400 SE is ideal for limited space and wet environments, such as in fish departments.

Powerful printer

Thermal labels can be printed to your individual design. High definition fonts can be combined with brilliant pictures and your company logo. The CE-S has two print widths, 52 and 64 mm, and a particularly large roll diameter of up to 135 mm, thus offering twice the usual number of labels. Fewer roll changes mean less handling and time savings. The printer cassette is quickly and easily exchanged. No more time consuming label roll change.

Digital brilliance

The Bizerba CE -S is equipped with a brilliant color touch screen for variable keyboard configuration and for display of product images, advertising and promotions. Design your own individual touch screen layout. Use the product illustrations from the digital image database on the Bizerba CD, download pictures from the Internet or insert your own scanned or digitally photographed images.

The result is a clean surface with perfect image depiction. New PLUs can be assigned and added at any time. The keyboard designer permits variable key sizes and any optional arrangement of PLU and function keys.

The scale as an advertising medium with video function

Make use of the new possibility to place effective promotions on the customer display, in the form of text, pictures or animations. Sell the space to brand name product suppliers or simply use the space for your own internal advertising and promotions. Present consumer information, advertise special offers or additional services, such as your party service.

Use the optional video function for operator training, cooking instructions and product advertising (CE-H-S) and promotions.

Future oriented and hard wearing technology

The Windows CE operating system has the same open-ended structure as PC operating systems. Chose between the model CE-S with a 128 MB Compact Flash, which can be extended to up to 1024 MB (optionally), and the more sophisticated CE-H-S model with a 20 GB hard drive.

Bizerba remote update – your entry into the world of E-service

The CE-S is the ideal solution to serve the needs of branch operations. It permits trouble free data exchange in just seconds using the standard protocol FTP. The scales are control- led by your central processor, from price changes or the entry of new PLUs to complete software updates. Even when serving a large number of stores, new concepts can be implemented without delay, incurring only minimal service or telephone costs. The CE-S also offers a wide range of different software modules as optional licenses. The wireless version of the CE-S can be integrated into wireless networks.
