Balingen/Lisbon 19th April 2009 - The new PC scales generation from the technology manufacturer Bizerba from Balingen are shaped by functionality and flexibility in their most perfect form http://www.bizerba.com. As part of the Bizerba fresh foods management system the new K model sets new standards. Bizerba is presenting the KH 100, KH 400 and KH 800 models at Alimentaria 2009 from 19th to 22nd April 2009 (hall 3, stand D 380).

 

The state of the art K class PC scales range fulfil the most diverse requirements as a result of a sophisticated modular system. Individual hardware modules can be adapted, combined or extended according to customer’s requirements so that different types of scales can be configured: from stand-alone scales through standing scales to hanging scales.

 

Scalable industrial PC technology guarantees availability, mobility and quality. The models software is based on the XP solution WePOS and the Linux based operating system SLEPOS, versions of operating systems specially developed for the retail sector.

 

The PC scales can be adapted to customers’ existing hard and software. The scales are so expandable that they can grow with the customers’ demands. Tools from the Bizerba software family RetailFramework can be used according to desired scope.

Consumer information can thus be compiled, managed, displayed and printed from the scales. At the same time each scales have their own IP address and can be controlled via the internet at anytime from anywhere in the world. The content can be directly entered into the company’s own database by using the values administration tool .RetailImpact and can be called up on the scales’ touch screen display.

The K-class with its functionality and compatibility with many other applications and solutions leads to a noticeable reduction in costs and as part of the Bizerba fresh foods management system contributes to a growth in turnover.
